Chibi Childhood - Yarr and Sara

Character #24, Yarr Deux and #27, Sara Rima.

"Chibi Childhood" is a mini side project in a Flipnote imported to a Flash animation I did at high school. This is the beginning of the series and introduction of two characters: Yarr the Arctic Hare and Sara the Ninja Cat.

I use my Nintendo DSi XL to my advantage and create a "flipnote" animation which I could draw each frame like each paper of a flipnote book. It's not easy because I'm not experienced in creating animations fluidly as I'm learning (and self-taught).

Even though I don't like my old flipnote animations, I can at least appreciate how much effort and change I improved in my future flipnote contents as this is my first flipnote animations.

The story of "Chibi Childhood" is about Yarr and Sara's childhood in a light and "cute-chibi" form. Most of my storytelling I want to create are slightly more into a serious tone to give lots of character developments (except it didn't happen since I reject to continue my retired project).

The basic story is about their relationship of Sara having a crush but Yarr doesn't see her the same way, just friends. I realise how stupid the plot goes when I look back into it, but it's something I made for a start and the beginning of creating pixel-flipnote art and animations. Basically, they're adorable together until time grows apart.

Also, Yarr isn't my "main" character but he is one for the mini project. Sara ends up being the main protagonist of the animation story since she appears the most.
