No Name

He doesn't have a name.
So far, many people online had at least made a ship child or fusion. I never bother to create one until one night, I was doodling a sketch version of him but he has no name.

If you're wondering, I don't care if you see him as a scifell child or fusion but his name is not important. No matter how many times you ask me for any information about him, I won't tell. However, I can mention some (fun) trivia about him instead...

Originally, he's supposed to be a child of Sci and Edge (adopted, cloned, actual soul breeding, whatever you can think of) because he has both qualities of them. Most of his characteristics came from Sci in personality being reserved and quiet. He still has half of Edge's side in skills and ability in battles, surviving and such.

His eyes are both red, unlike Edge with one red eye while Sci with two green eyes. He's Sci and Edge combined who holds each other's weaknesses. For example, Sci is logical, smart and mentally strong while Edge is creative, emotional and physically strong.

Basically, he has the "perfect DNA" from two Ultimates, making him entitled as the "Ultimate Ultimate" Gaster always wanted to experiment with Sci before accepting him as a skeleton or considering the "breeding soul" method.

Intentionally, I have a one-shot story about him with a name (but still couldn't come up with a better name) where he lives with Sci and Edge in a winter environment, possibly Snowdin in Underfell.

Also, you're free to replace the word "No Name" to any other (boy's) name you wish, heck, it's like a self-insert scifell-child's name if you want but I rather not have people stealing this writing as their own...

Edge takes Sage out in the snow so he could train him and develop his powers for the first time. However, Edge comes out pretty strict as he prepares his magical bone attacks.

Meanwhile, at their home, Sci continues working on a scientific project until he decides to take a break and check on his family to see how they're doing outside. After Sci walks down the steps, Sage rushes to Sci's legs and hugs him tight.

"What's wrong?" Sci asks.

"I don't want to do this anymore."

Edge manages to catch up and stops approaching closer to them as he sees Sage frighten. Sci looks over at Edge gasping with cold breaths escaping his mouth. He decides to press him for answers.

"Edge, what did you do?"

"Nothing!" Edge coughs. "I- I don't know! He just ran off!"

Sci knows his partner well and believes he's telling the truth. This time, he kindly asks their child's side of story.

"Did Edge do something wrong to you?"

"He's..." Nervously shaking, he tries his best to explain what happened. "He's scary..."

For a moment, the silence resolves his problems immediately.

"Is Edge scary?" Sci asks for confirmation. He looks over at Edge calming down from exhaustion before looking back at their child.

"I don't know... He looks scary with his evil eye and big teeth."

Sci lets out a soft chuckle while Edge has the face that he should have expected earlier. Unsure what to do, Edge scratches the back of his skull as he looks down.

"So it's my appearance, huh?"

Sci didn't respond and comes with a new solution. He politely release Sage and turns him around, facing Edge again. After getting him to the correct position, Sci orders his partner next.

"Edge, roll on the snow."

"What?"

"Just do it. Pretend you're a cat or a dog."

There's no point for Edge to argue and follows Sci. Edge grumbles and lies on his back.

"Fine. You own me."

Sci makes an inside joke with him, saying he already owns him as his love. Moving on, Sci tells Sage to imagine Edge as a gentle giant. Edge tries to contain himself and stays quiet.

"Go ahead," Sci reassures him. "You can touch him."

In a strange circumstance, Edge continues to obey Sci without speaking or trying to scare their child away. Sage approaches the red skeleton, bends down and slowly places his hand on top of his forehead. He begins stroking Edge's skull carefully as he stays still.

"Don't worry, he won't bite," Sci mentions and makes his partner flustered.

As he continues patting Edge's head, Sci is able to convince their child not to be afraid.

"See? He's not scary, right?"

"But I'm still nervous..."

"You can keep petting him until you feel comfortable."

Edge stays calm and relaxed on the snow as Sage continues being pet. Their child gently strokes and falls into a liking to touch his fur jacket. It's the fluffiest and warm feeling he felt. He keeps petting Edge, imagining him as a stray animal while Edge lets his mind wanders off.

For a few moments, Sci enjoys watching the two interact with each other. Noticing their child familiar with Edge's presences, Sci commands. "Edge, show him your red eye."

Nearly dozed off from relaxation, Edge wakes up and slowly turns his eye red. Meeting with eye contact, Sage's eyes widen and freeze from the tension. He puts his hands away but didn't run away this time.

"What do you think about his eye?" Sci questions him.

"It's... creepy."

Edge didn't answer and takes it as a compliment.

"Anything else?"

"He looks... Dangerous and angry."

"But is he angry at you?"

Sage takes a closer took at Edge's face, realising he's not mad at anyone.

"Actually... no. He's not..."

Being close to him, his mind opens the world larger as he tries to pet Edge again. His fear slowly submerges and finally sees him to be soft and gentle inside.

"See? His red eye is pretty, like a ruby. I was drawn to his eyes back then. It's also how I fell in love with him too." Sci reminiscing their past as it was just yesterday.

At first, Sci was supposed to shoot the wanted criminal but he didn't aim the trigger and let him go. It was a clear shot opportunity but Sci released him free. It wasn't until they meet again and slowly fall for each other.

Edge sighs, remembers everything and how far he went through until he met Sci. He's glad to have him in his life and promise to be together till the very end.

While they recall their moments, their child, Sage continues to overcome his fears as he strokes Edge with his red eye not scary anymore. Sci quickly snaps back to reality and instructs Edge to show off his teeth next. He explains it like the wolf from little red riding hood but twists the story's perspective, explaining Edge's sharp teeth can help him look strong and protective.

The story after that was never finished and I'll leave it up to anybody's imagination.
