Human!Sci x Edge AU [W.I.P.]

I had this AU idea for a long time and might as well share it.

Pretty much a science prodigy (Human!Sci) falls in love with a skeleton (Edge) and takes care of him in the human world and help get him back to his original Underfell universe until time.

However, Edge’s lifespan is longer due to being a monster but Sci ages older with a human lifespan. Sci can’t live long to be with him or able to help Edge back home (fail, but Edge is fine staying in Sci’s homeworld since he doesn’t want to stay in Underfell anymore because it’s actually hell).

At the end, when Sci’s time is nearly up, he risks taking injections to turn into a skeleton monster (aka. Sci!Sans). The rest is up to anybody if he succeeds or not (if he did, he’ll live happily with Edge while it’s Edge’s turn to teach him in his new life as a skeleton monster).
