No Filter [Fanfiction]

During a car ride, Edge keeps on ranting about everything that came out from his mind. He expresses his emotions while complaining about his thoughts and problems as Sci listens. He isn't afraid to swear and say everything out loud. He's always honest and true to his own feelings. Unlike Edge, Sci is the opposite despite he has a similar mindset to Edge. Sci is reserved and tries to stay mature to keep his polite manners around everyone.

There's a moment Edge couldn't stop reusing offensive strong languages in his words as he's limited to certain vocabularies. It's about time Sci comments on his behaviour.

"You seriously have no filter Edge."

"Oh hell no! I love the freedom to say whatever the fuck I want!" Edge laughs with Sci as he appreciates his quirks. He's not surprised to admit the truth from his partner.

"Too bad I can't always curse 24-7, I have to stop my habit of swearing since I got a job."

The mood dramatically changes as Edge falls into a slump, "Yeah, I know."

Edge couldn't force him to change, even though he likes Sci more when he swears or shows his true colours. At least he feels lucky and precious having him as his partner. On the other hand, Sci couldn't help being professional, knowing how difficult it is to keep the act forever during his work hours. For a good-paying job, Sci wouldn't dare to curse in front of his boss or nearby just to keep his career.

The two skeletons share the silence together. Edge drifts off to the side as everything when passing by from the window while Sci keeps his head towards on the road with hands on the wheel.

Suddenly, a car from the opposite road accidentally drifts towards Sci's path, close to crushing if Sci didn't press the horn. The noise wakes the driver back focusing on their lane while Edge immediately turns his attention to what just happened.

"WHAT THE FUCK?!" Sci yells at the passing vehicle as it speeds on further to overtake in front of him. "WATCH THE ROAD, DICKHEAD!!"

The driver couldn't hear or see Sci's rage when their windows are closed. However, Edge is the only one who can witness Sci's anger and hides his smile behind his excitement. He couldn't wait for the day Sci would show more of his rebellious side again.
