My favourite Japanese commercial.

I've seen this popular commercial on YouTube since FBE did a reaction video of it. I have to say, this is my favourite blizzard advertisement and it's so memorable that it even made me buy them today!

After I went home from exploring the city, I have so many ideas on what I want to draw next. I had takoyaki and got a comic I want to draw but I also want to draw other things that inspired me while I was in the city. In the end, I decided to work on this parody.

I would like to mention to take this as a joke because it's not meant to be serious. This is also not an advertisement or some form of promotion for the brand as this is drawn for fun or as a meme.

This isn't my best illustration as since I didn't use the original reference entirely other than the poses because I didn't know who would be Chi-Chan, reacting to the two men in the middle. So, I end up with a "dreamy" simple background. Also, Edge is wearing a wedding suit while I like to keep Sci in his white laboratory coat as an alternative to the white suit.

I always thought whenever I see Tooru-San, I imagined him to be Sci as a generic nerd-looking character. This may not be my strongest reason to make this into a scifell drawing but for anybody who knows Westy, his food item is a grape and surprisingly, the commercial advertises grape flavoured candy while the two guys get married together as a hidden reference to him.

Lineart was difficult at first but the overall look was the hardest to finish. I coloured the candy by scratch and try to finish this least than 3 hours as I want to speed my drawing skills quicker in the future. I might not be happy with the finishing results but Sci and Edge look better than I expected to turn out in my vision to the commercial.
