FULL CIRCLE [3126]

This is not a test, this is not a test.

I've been addicted to "Full Circle" by Five Finger Death Punch since it was released online and I can't wait to hear the rest of the songs of their newest album "F8" (which I think it's pronounced "Fate" in abbreviation).

When I first listen to it, the music became my favourite with the heaviest of the instruments and immediately fall in love after listening to the beginning of the vocal, which I used for the blockquote. The lyrics might be the weakest point of the track in my opinion since it used "google" as a shorten or replacement for researching online.

However, I really like the chorus because it's pretty relatable to me, who believes I wouldn't make a difference to the world, even though I spread influence and inspiration to many others. Sadly, I'm not famous or popular either. I even prefer to be an observer as the world spins on its own, having the internet as my source of entertainment.

Overall, I can listen to this all day and night enjoying the beat drop, guitar solo and the vocal usage the singer put into it. Of course, I can imagine Edge singing this song too.

Originally, I was going to keep the background white but I realise it wouldn't fit the song and theme of metal, so I changed it into black. Also, I thought about making this in monochrome in an edgy comic art style but I didn't.

I struggle to draw the atomic explosion and making the fire in realism because I don't want to rely on my lineart for everything. I was sceptical to add a bridge or where to put it but I stick to my original sketch and have it dangle while matching the lyrics having the bridge leading back to Sci(-Ko) as the "mastermind".

I wanted to have a circle background with Edge but it would be empty for Sci without something behind him. Sci's background has a lot of tally marks keeping scores just like in a prison counting each day. When the song kept mentioning "This is not a test", I always imagine them literally dropping bombs.

The location is at a timeline where the extinction of the human race is gone after they plunge the world into destruction. Their universe is beyond saving, believing it's not going to change since it's all fictional to our reality. There's a lot of doubt whatever they can make a difference and laugh to themselves into madness before a new beginning starts.
