Merry Christmas 2020 and it's no secret that I really like scifell!I'm shocked nobody thought about using the idiom "skeleton in the closet" into a concept for scifell, especially it's perfect for them relating to the Christmas Party AU. I could also add more ideas like seven minutes in heaven too!
Earlier, I drew this on paper with Copic markers but I wasn't my best effort since I'm not great with traditional art and it's not easy drawing certain poses without image references. Originally, I was going to get my sister to help me with character positions but it was embarrassing to ask her so I end up trying to make it on my own.
There was a complex angle I took from my camera but I struggled to draw the skeletons in a much difficult position and changed the perspective to my original sketch. Without assistance, I recorded myself to recreate a better pose for them each and screenshot the best shot before combining both together.
During the progress, I was considering to have them inside the same closet from CPAU but I changed the colours more fitting to my wardrobe as well as adding some of my clothes inside. While saving some time, I missed doing photography and took a photo of my bedroom floor, wall and door to use them as my own textures.
Usually, I don't like to draw my persona (Yasu-Kun) or other people's original characters with the skeleverse but I'm willing to take a risk by doing so. There's also a shadow of my persona along with invisible ink to make a reference to my own work.
In the special drawing, I added Cuddles (cuddlypfudor) and Ky (kyogre1523) with our reaction would react if we find Sci and Edge together inside a closet as a fun bonus. One time we had a conversation in the group chat about travelling different alternate universes through closet to closet and it ended with a small roleplay and creating another alternate timeline in CPAU.

Speaking of closets, I had an idea and love to have a story about Sci travelling different worlds by creating a gateway portal from closets only. It's something I like to see him as another method to encounter Edge, his homeworld or just get away from anything. It would be funny they suddenly ran out of a random person's wardrobe to make them suspicious because of the joke about hiding dead bodies or secrets.
Returning to the main topic, there's three versions of the same illustration of different reactions in their eyes because I really like them all and I couldn't decide at first.
Also, Sci's slippers are red instead of pink because I noticed his shoes are different near the recent parts of the Christmas Party AU comic. It's the same with Edge's pants once dark red but later changed to black. Unlike Sci, I noticed Edge's red pants has the same value as his brown sweater so I changed the colour slightly darker and in-between darker red and black.
It's been so long since I make digital art again. If I have to say, I was enjoying my time completing this. I had fun recording myself in Edge's pose despite it's difficult pretending to imagine an invisible person in Sci's position as I struggle to hold my balance.
I kinda wish I drew the clothes better because I didn't use photo references to make the accurate look from my wardrobe. Besides that, I could also done the shadows better and Sci's hands is slightly larger by a little bit. Lastly, in a realistic point of view, I slightly can't imagine kneeling my knees against the wooden floor.
Overall, even though it's slightly out of my comfort zone and smiled a lot in embarrassment from their poses, I still like this illustration more than I hoped for.
