It's a tradition to draw the pineapple for every first class involving PhotoShop.
From my previous psychopath pineapple drawings, my classmates would mention how creepy it is. But for the first time, someone noticed my work and liked it. As for my teacher, he pretends it doesn't exist on my screen as he checks on the rest of my Photoshop work.
While most of it was done by scratch with the brush tool, I used my college's available stock images and used 3 different images for the texture of the drawing. Also, if any of the 3 stock images I used aren't free, then I must inform you that it's for educational purposes to teach students and learn how to use Photoshop, otherwise you can blame my college for it.
The base of the pineapple was warped into a round shape to make the body a realistic shape and texture before setting the layer style to overlay. The image used for the head of the pineapple was done with two different layer styles: lighten with linear burn in 50% opacity. Finally, the last red curtain image is barely visible but applied on the knife in an overlay layer at 75% opacity.
Overall, I love this version of the pineapple compared to my previous versions of it — What more do I need to say?
