Geno, Error and Fresh's human character designs are based and inspired by Crayon Queen.
Guilty I haven't done any drawing in my spare time due to an overload of college assignments to the point I stressed out and drew Crayon Queen (loverofpiggies)'s skeletons as human version. After finishing the sketch and realising the lack of content I posted, I decided to reveal my human names of the trio that I mainly kept for my AU creations like UnderDespair.
DISCLAIMER: The names I've given them aren't canon outside UnderDespair or any other AU creations with my human versions of them.
Geno (Genevie "Jenny" McQueen)
Originally, I had my own human design for Geno and decided to merge my design with CQ's human version. The only difference is his outfit to my UnderDespair design and longer side fringes. I added the blood he's bleeding from his mouth as a comparison and kept my human version of Geno's long ponytail.
For his name, he's the most difficult name to come up with while keeping the first "Jen" sounding syllable. In the end, I decided to go with Genevie, which is a girl's name. Most names that start with "Gen" or "Jen" are often feminine and a nickname from other characters, but I researched "Jenny" could also be a rare boy's name.
Ignoring the gender norms, the name Genevie means "woman of the family" and I often see Geno as the caretaker or the "mum" of the friend group, and as the eldest of the CQ Bros. Besides the meaning behind Genevie, I'll leave the headcanons up to your imagination.
Fresh (Frederick "Fred" McQueen)
I don't have my own human version for Fresh because CQ's human design for him is one of the best character designs I can't think of redesigning. The only change I made was the thicker bridge of his LED glasses that can have other messages besides "YOLO" that can scroll sideways. I actually drew Fresh last and used his human reference over his original reference, which is why he's missing the inner orange collar of his overgarment. Although Fresh is genderless and could have any human form that can be any gender, pronouns, ethnicity or nationality, I adore his main pink mullet design that resembles his creator's appearance.
For his name, I always see Fresh as a "Fred" kind of guy and I sometimes accidentally thought his name was Fred at some point. Fred is more of a nickname so I decided to go with Frederick by adding "Rick" at the end of his human name to add Rick-rolling jokes and references to him. I also got the name's inspiration from a certain, but one of the very first YouTuber who I easily find practically... annoying.
The name Frederick means "peaceful ruler" and I sometimes see Fresh as a peacemaker or someone who rather keep every vibe as peaceful as possible. Not only that, names involving "ruler" in their meaning are a bonus hidden reference I added for characters who are out-coded, characters who can exist and have an influence outside the Undertale AU fandom.
Error (Eero "Eric" McQueen)
I don't have my own human design for Error either and used CQ's human design while changing his outfit to his popular Lucidia design. Beforehand, I had scepticism about drawing Error as a human due to public controversies over his design. However, Error is first and foremost a glitch with inverted colours, hence why most of his bones are black (with some in red and a bit in yellow; I see him as an anomaly like a calico cat). Not only that, Error's colour palette is the three primary colours that can be mixed into black, like how I coloured him with coloured pencils.
For his name, I researched and found the most obvious name that sounds the closest to "Error". Later, it turns out Eero is a name based on Eric, but decided to keep both. Error was originally going to be named "Edward" before giving it away to my human version of Edge, and I'm glad Error's human name was changed.
The name Eero and Eric means "eternal ruler". Like Fresh, Error is an out-coded character with the sad story of his goal of eternally destroying alternate universes.
DISCLAIMER: Before reading further, I was inspired by the concept of CQ Bros as (adopted) brothers from Momma CQ by Alainaprana, but I still respect Crayon Queen's creation and have nothing against anyone who ships Geno, Error and/or Fresh in any combination due to her statement that Error and Fresh aren't canonly (biological) brothers.
However, please respect those are my headcanons and only consider "canon" as background lore for UnderDespair.
As you may notice, all the CQ Bros share their last name, McQueen and it's definitely a reference to Crayon Queen, rather than calling "Queen" as their family name. Not only that, Error and Fresh are visibly wearing the same emblem pins relating to their creator in UnderDespair.
Despite they're *unluckily* related by blood, I still see the trio as adopted brothers due to sharing the same creator. Knowing Error is a possible future version of Geno, characters who can evolve from the same timeline are like cousins from the same family tree (while AUs outside Undertale's timeline are from a different universe with its own family tree and timeline), at least in Underdespair's lore.
And for Fresh, even if he's canonly asexual, it really depends on whose body he possesses and what he'll do with it, and not strictly Sans-es. If Fresh is in the body of a Sans from any of Undertale's universe and timeline, it goes back to what I've said in the previous paragraph. I don't have the answer to what's morally right or wrong as it's confusing and makes anyone question the universe, and I prefer to strictly stick to the canon concept of Fresh being asexual to avoid complications.
Regardless, this is just one theory of how the (Undertale) multiverse could work.
Lastly, not to hurt your head any further, if the characters in UnderDespair appear as human instead, then yes, the CQ Bros would look like how I drew them in this coloured pencil sketch!
