March 2025 Doodles

3 hours 30 minutes doodles of testing different photoshop brushes.

Most of them are random, but my favourite sketch is Saitou at the very bottom left, despite how frustrating it is using that brush. Also, some of the doodles doesn't look good when they're flipped horizontally because I didn't bother to check and correct my lineart and such.

It's obvious I'm biased for Sci and my human version, Saitou more after taking over my main persona as my icon and often the protagonist in my stories of them. He's a bit difficult to make fun of as a character who struggles to express himself from the outside, so drawing him in a small smile is enough to make me feel happy to see!

I've always wanted to draw Edward — my human version of Edge — with the smug cat-like face, and what if someone tied his long side hair into a braid? I notice I tend to often draw Edge with a resting-bitch face because that's how he naturally looks when content or feeling neutral. Oh, never forget him as Eggy too!

Dan was added halfway into the doodle dump after I drew both Ed and Saitou in large portraits and realised I should try drawing him without his hat and hood on to show what his hair looks like underneath. It's not my best, but it's close to my short haircut. Some day, I'll draw his hairstyle better. Daniel (and Dance) is much more fun to draw him being silly along with Edge, so I didn't do any serious sketches of him after that.

Lastly, I did small lineart doodles of the trio as cats and dogs on the top-left corner. Sci is a white domestic cat and a labrador retriever — obviously for the lab jokes. Edge is a tiger and a rottweiler. And Dan is a lion and a — dramatic and escape artist — husky. Honestly, Dan doesn't fit as a lion when I draw him with manes, he's more of a dog person and likes lions as his zodiac and favourite cat.
